I have decided that the Hollywood cookie diet is too expensive. I'm also going to stop working weeknights at Sears. I tried it this week and was too tired the next day.

Dexatrim

I'm trying Dexatrim to see if it actually works. So far it seems to be really controlling my appetite. Unless it is a placebo effect.

diet update

Well I had to eat something light along with the cookies and apples at lunch. But the diet seems okay for breakfast.

special day

Yesterday was the fourth anniversary of my kitty moving in with me. I'm so glad he did. I'm trying the Hollywood cookie diet. Four cookies for breakfast and lunch. So far so good. Though I need to munch on something like apple slices too.

more hours?

I'm going to try to work a couple nights a week at Sears to make extra money. My dad's high medical costs mean my folks will have less money to help me with. A couple hundred extra per month should come in handy. If I get too tired I will cut back again.

pen pals

I'm writing to soldiers again. I found some groups that don't make you send care packages, which I can't afford. Just letters. It will give me a good reason to use my cool new stationery.

Having fun in San Diego

I'm visiting some friends in San Diego, and having a blast so far. Last night we went to a club downtown to see a good '80s cover band, and I wasn't driving so I could get good and drunk (but not drunk enough to have a hangover - yay). This weekend we are also going to the Wild Animal Park and a winery. So it will be a full weekend, and one I don't want to end.

Meanwhile, I have decided to be just friends with Mr. NY. We have differing philosophies about how obligatory our chats are, plus I want to give him the option to have kids, and I don't really want them. I thought I would grudgingly agree to have kids with the right person, but I've reconsidered that.

curiouser and curiouser

The NY situation is getting stranger. He is acting like he isn't getting my peeved emails. He is writing me all sunny and light. Wishing me a good day. Expressing disappointment that I wasn't online to chat last night. Ha! Well, if he isn't getting my messages, too bad. I'm not calling him. Let him get puzzled and call me.

disenchantment

The NY guy is letting me down. He missed an online chat appointment last night. No explanation. This is the second chat he has missed. I need someone I can count on to keep his promises. So maybe we won't work after all.
